A True Single Origin White Chocolate Bar
This is an incredibly special chocolate bar! Goodnow Farms makes it using their own freshly pressed single origin cocoa butter, which is something almost no one else can do. The beans are directly sourced Almendra Blanca beans from farmer Vicente Caçep, in Tabasco, Mexico. The distinct single origin flavors of these unique, light colored beans shine through in every bite.
Why is this bar so special? Because almost all cocoa butter is made by a handful of large corporations, pressed from beans of unknown origin and quality, then deodorized to remove all flavor. This is what’s used in most white chocolate bars, so the flavor of the cacao is completely lost. By using their own beans, and never alkalizing or deodorizing, they're able to retain the unique and special true flavors of the cacao.
