As the great-great-grandchild of William Ludgate, who arrived in Hawaii in the 1860s, Will continues a legacy of agricultural excellence on their 46-acre farm located above Kapa’a, nestled between Sleeping Giant and Mt. Wai’ale’ale. Lydgate Farms is situated in an ahupua’a (land division) named Olohena, renowned for its rolling hills and the numerous springs and rivers that contribute to the valley's fertility.
