chocoMe Atelier

Gábor Mészáros, the founder and owner of the chocoMe chocolate manufactory, was drawn into the chocolate business almost by chance. Originally trained as an economist, he worked as a trade marketing manager in the food industry, but the 2008 global crisis led him to decide to build his own business. His love for gastronomy made the choice almost obvious, and Gábor, upon discovering the gaps in the premium chocolate market in Hungary, decided to take action! After his initial studies in Belgium, together with Gyula Ebedli, an interior and product designer, he dreamed up the molds and packaging that have since won international design awards. 

Since the first year, Gábor became a true chocolate fanatic, and in the decade that has passed since the founding, his enthusiasm has not diminished in the slightest. Every year, he returns from training courses abroad, learning directly from the most famous chocolatiers, bringing back the latest knowledge and technologies. He obsessively researches new flavors and the most exciting ingredients, and personally visits cocoa plantations, farmlands, and factories in various parts of the world.

Mészáros founded his Atelier line, focusing on bars and dragees made from speciality Single-Origin Cacao.
