The cacao from Tien Giang province in Vietnam has an exceptional flavor you may not typically associate with chocolate. Tien Giang is rich and sweet with strong notes of dates and honey with hints of warm spice. All of the Vietnamese origins Eigen Chocolate offers come from Marou Faiseurs De Chocolat. Marou has the unique ability to visit all of the farms in their network on a monthly basis, cultivating a truly personal relationship. Marou buys beans from farmers well above fair trade level and assists farmers with technical and financial support. Like all Eigen Chocolates this bar is made with ethically traded cacao, sugar certified by the regenerative organic alliance, and compostable packaging.
