Castronovo Tumaco Colombia 100% Cacao Dark Chocolate
On the Pacific coast of Colombia along the river delta lies the remote region of Tumaco, an area inhabited by escaped slaves forming Colombia's largest Afro-Colombian community. The river shores are lined with mangroves and dense tropical forests, having an equatorial climate with heavy rainfall year-round. The region has a native cacao varietal located far upstream which is harvested in the wild.
Having deep chocolate flavors and mild bitterness, there is no other varietal better suited for a 100% cacao bar. This chocolate is recommended for the enthusiast seeking full flavor, high antioxidants, and no sugar. You will find nice complex flavors in the chocolate of rum, molasses, cinnamon, citrus, and a barley malt creaminess in the finish.
Contains no nuts, wheat, gluten, or soy. Made in a facility that uses milk.
