Domori - Trinitario 70% Dark Chocolate - Venezuela
$ 9.50
Venezuela is considered the birthplace of cacao with extraordinary organoleptic qualities. Over the centuries, various hybridizations have taken place, yet the aromatic profile of Venezuelan cacao leaves no room for doubt; among notes of fruit and nuts, a supreme chocolate aftertaste prevails. This bar is crafted from a blend of hybrids native to the states of Merida, Trujillo, Tachira and Zulia, south of Lake Maracaibo. Its aroma is delicate and fresh, with notes of almond and coffee; low acidity and astringency give way to remarkable finesse and elegance, with a finish that lingers beautifully.
Trinitario is an aromatic cacao variety accounting for 8% of the world's cacao harvest, born from the hybridization of Criollo and Forastero: from this union it inherits the resilience and high yield of Forastero, together with the rich, noble aromatic profile of Criollo. Domori sources this precious variety from plantations spanning Latin America and Africa (Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, Madagascar and Tanzania), transforming the beans every day through the shortest, purest recipe in the world.
A hybrid Trinitario with a strong Criollo presence, sourced from the Venezuelan states of Merida, Trujillo, Tachira and Zulia, south of Lake Maracaibo: delicate and very fresh aroma, with notes of almond and coffee, low acidity and astringency, remarkable finesse and elegance, and a long-lasting finish.
