Virtual Tasting Class - "Bean" in Love - February 14 - 3pm session
This guided chocolate tasting for 2 people by renowned chocolate sommelier Geneviève Leloup of Chocomotions in collaboration with the Cocoa Store will explore how fine flavor cacao beans are transformed into the most scrumptious chocolate bars.
You will understand all the steps required to make chocolate in the best European tradition and learn how to detect the amazing flavors and aromas of high-end craft chocolate. We will provide you with a kit that includes a tasting sheet and we will start with pure roasted cacao beans to follow with a delicate single origin bar by Tuscan maker Amedei made with rare Venezuelan beans and a delicious dark milk chocolate made with Indonesian beans by French maker Bonnat. To follow, a seductive raspberry raw cacao bar made by Italian artisan chocolatier Cacao Crudo from Palestrina in Italy and conclude the tasting by bringing in a little heat with a Domori bar made with Colombian Teyuna beans and peperoncino (chili).
